About Our Mission StatementSudden Cardiac Arrest claims over 340,000 lives every year in the U.S. alone, making it the leading cause of natural death. With 1.4 million Americans dying each year as a result of cardiovascular disease, any measures that give a fighting chance to victims of sudden heart failure has to be regarded as a good thing. Until the introduction of portable AED machines, a sudden cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival was extremely slim and with the ability to administer defibrillation within the first few minutes of cardiac arrest, survival rates can increase up to 74%1. Performance CPR feels that selling this equipment as well as providing training on its use will ensure a robust and thriving community that can react quickly to a cardiac situation. About Us
Greg Baker started Performance CPR to provide better safety programs in the community. With over 23 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Greg has extensive experience in environments where safety is critical. In one position, Greg led his mill site to achieve VPP Star Certification in 2005. VPP is the highest safety achievement certification in the US. Only 1,200 businesses (of the 6.8 million in the US) have achieved this award. Greg managed the worker's compensation costs for the mill site from an average of over $275k per year down to an average of $27k per year over the last 6 years, a reduction of 90%. He also set a corporate record of 747 days with no loss time. Greg uses this same tenacity to the benefit of all his clients. Greg married in July 2009 and enjoys jackpot team roping and Rodeo from Washington State to Arizona. Watch Greg roping (15 meg AVI).
